Top 5 Social Networking Apps in Poland Q2 2024

During the second quarter of 2024, Poland's top social networking apps demonstrated diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and user engagement. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top five apps based on Sensor Tower data.

WhatsApp Messenger experienced a fluctuating download trend, with peaks and troughs throughout the quarter. Downloads increased from approximately 77K in the first week of April to nearly 89K by the end of June. Weekly active users showed a steady increase, moving from around 5.6M to 5.7M during the same period.

Threads saw a decrease in downloads from approximately 74K in early April to around 32K in mid-June, before rebounding to nearly 58K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users showed a strong upward trend, growing from about 594K to over 822K.

ten ten - close friends only demonstrated significant growth in downloads, starting at a modest 248 in early April and peaking at over 191K in early June. However, this was followed by a decline to about 24K by the end of June. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, increasing from 901 to a peak of approximately 206K in early June, then decreasing to around 126K by the end of the quarter.

Facebook maintained a relatively stable download rate, with figures ranging from about 48K to 76K throughout the quarter. Revenue saw fluctuations, peaking at around $15.6K in early May and settling at approximately $9.5K by the end of June. Weekly active users remained consistently high, ranging from about 17.5M to 18M.

Messenger experienced a steady increase in downloads, rising from around 88K in early April to nearly 91K by the end of June. Revenue showed a slight decline from approximately $974 to around $427 during the quarter. Weekly active users remained stable, ranging between 16.9M and 17.1M.
